Can I switch between different neuromodulator brands?

Yes one can switch neuromodulator brands and some who are concerned of developing resistance prefer to rotate with subsequemt treatments.

Can I combine different neuromodulators and dermal fillers in the same session?

Yes, more than one neuromodulator may be used and often i prefer to use one for the lateral eye (crows feet) and another for the forehead and face. Dermal fillers; I recommend staying with a brand for the entire treatment and to avoid reenhancing previously filled areas with an alternative brand. It will be necessary to bring record of a previous treatment/brand used for safety reasons and to avoid a serious deleterious side effect of using more than one product to the lips for example.

Why choose physician-administered injectable treatments over medical spas?

A physicians medical education and degree involve extensive hands on training in the field of anatomy and physiology as well as a well rounded education of assisting with and or performing surgical procedures. Mid level providers and practitioners do not have the same educational background; very few have had true anatomic hands on training and experience with the entire human body let alone facial anatomy.

How far in advance should I recieve injections before an event?

Dysport shows results within 48 hours, botox and xeomin take up to 14 days for a full effect. HA fillers show immediate results and swelling usually lasts for 2-3 days; full effect takes several weeks (for collagen stimulation and growth).

How long do Dermal Fillers last?

Dermal fillers have permanent depository effects (the product does not wear off like a neuromodulator). Sculptra has a “plastic-like” substance leaving a permanent injected substance. This is not to say that after years (2-6 depending on the filler and location) the result is less apparent and people usually seek out further enhancement procedures.
